The CHIO in Bad Aachen, the annual meeting of world-class competitors in equestrian sports and each year the ultimate event. Renowned for perfect organisation and tradition.
This event was first held in 1924 and since then we have been cultivating the synthesis between the ultimate performance of horse and rider, and equestrian noblesse. Here sportsmanship is just as much a priority as the sophisticated presentation of a world-class festival of equestrian sport. Certainly these are reasons why the CHIO Bad Aachen has so often been honoured as the world's best open-air tournament, a high distinction which the Aachen-Laurensberger Rennverein has received in all three disciplines; show jumping, dressage and horse and carriage events.
For decades the Aachen Soers, the beautiful competition facility of the traditional Aachen-Laurensberger Rennverein has been the venue where the leading representatives of the sport have vied for a prize. Whether it be a world championship or a European championship, more championships have been held here then anywhere else on earth.
